With the onset of the holiday season, a tech research firm has reported that downloads for free Christmas wallpaper for the computer desktop has dramatically surged over the last couple of days. Many are indeed getting into the yuletide season, specially in the US who has been through a lot from the past years due to the recession.
“It may seem trivial, but a big volume of searches for free Christmas wallpapers, merry Christmas wallpaper, free Christmas backgrounds, Christmas wallpaper and free Christmas desktop wallpaper is an indication that people are willing to get into the spirit of the holiday,” says research firm rep, Herbert Gorough.
“Specially for most people who work on a computer,” continues Gorough. “Putting up a personal yuletide digital decoration on something you use for most of the day means you’re being more optimistic about the coming end of year.”
“And the best thing about it,” he concludes. “The internet is a very rich resource for finding free Christmas wallpapers you can download. But what I recommend is find one that you like, and then personalize it using simple photo editing software out there to give it your own style.”
